June & July; Try to Stay Dry!

Unlike Elsa, the cold absolutely bothers me. Luckily, I have been spending copious amounts of time indoors, rehearsing for a number of fascinating and exciting projects!

Opening June 24, and running through til the end of July, I've spend the past 4 weeks or so working on this incredible new work for MTC. The cast are beyond talented, and it's a privilege to work with such an esteemed team of writers in Simon Phillips, Tim Finn and Carolyn Burns. The Jack Earle Trio will be in the orchestra for this production alongside our good friend Carlo Barbaro on Reeds. I promise that you will wet your pants laughing, and then cry from heartbreak - it's a wonderful story and I'm very honoured to be involved.

If these cold winter nights have you in the mood for original jazz, swing, and smooth vocals, then come to The Paris Cat and check out The Jack Earle Trio (myself, Patrick Schmidli & Kieran Rafferty) and Camilla Burrows singing some Great American Songbook hits. The Paris Cat is one of my favourite jazz clubs and you'll be able to say that you saw Camilla Burrows before she was famous!
